Looking for advice on new building using a few old parts

1) What will you be doing with this PC? Gaming? Photoshop? Web browsing? etc
Gaming mostly, light video editing, some minor CAD work.

2) What's your budget? Are tax and shipping included?
Trying to keep it a less than 1k USD. Under 750 USD would be great.

3) Which country do you live in? If the U.S, please tell us the state and city if possible.

I'll be reusing my gtx 970 and my 750 W Corsair PSU

No
7) What is the max resolution of your monitor? What size is it?
1920x1080 with possibly upgrading to a 1440 display in the near future

8) When do you plan on building/buying the PC?
Next 3 weeks

9) What features do you need in a motherboard? RAID? Firewire? Crossfire or SLI support? USB 3.0? SATA 6Gb/s? eSATA? Onboard video (as a backup or main GPU)? UEFI? etc.

10) Do you already have a legit and reusable/transferable OS key/license? If yes, what OS? Is it 32bit or 64bit?

I am either looking at buying from amazon due to having amazon prime, or Newegg because there is a shipping hub here in Memphis and I can pick the parts up from there and I do not have to pay the shipping costs. I am upgrading from an old 2500k build that is just getting old and can't keep stable overclocks anymore.

I went with a non-k cpu this time because I do not have the time to take the overclocking seriously.

Any critique on the build would be appreciated.

Also, up that DDR4 kit to at least 2666 (preferably 3000mhz). For the first in quite a while, Skylake CPU's actually take advantage of higher clock RAM.

EDIT: Nevermind, apparently the H110 chipset ONLY supports DDR4 2133.
