I have a kiosk-like installation. We're currently using iPads because of the availability of accessories. Specifically I'm looking for a simplified charging cradle.
A user picks up the device and can return it to the charging cradle. They don't plug in any wires... Just set the iPad in the cradle properly and it charges.
iPads are a bit challenging for this use case because of lack of control over WiFi sleep and automatic patching / reboots. I'd like to check out windows touch tablets but having to physically plug them in to charge isn't viable for my use case.
