Looking for a nice drive, any suggestions?

Looking for a CD writer, CD reader, DVD reader, and if its not too much money a DVD burner.. Anyone know one thats good? A link to it would be nice.. thanks

Most, if not all, DVDRW DL drives can read/burn both CDs and DVDs.

What motherboard do you have? Do you need an IDE drive or SATA drive?

SATA is preferred if you have a newer system with a SATA controller that supports optical drives.

If you want a SATA drive, I'd say the Samsung 203B or the Pioneer DVR-212D.

I use the Pioneer (black version) and it is great for quality burns. Both are highly regarded on CDFreaks, and the 212D was also given a very favorable review at Speed Lab.

I got a ASUS P5K LGA 775 Intel P35 ATX Intel Motherboard. I got a sata hard drive should, so if i get a sata cd drive i can just hook it up to sata?

Yup! Go for the SATA Samsung DVDRW drive.
