I just moved and am in the market for a new TV. I'm looking for a decent sized screen and easy on the power draw. Used for both gaming and movies (will not have cable for live sports and such).

These are the ones I'm looking at so far

VIZIO M501d-A2R 50-Inch 1080p 240Hz 3D Smart LED HDTV($800 for 50")
http://www.amazon.com/VIZIO-M501d-A...&qid=1383442029&sr=8-1&keywords=Vizio+50M501D

Samsung UN46F6300 46-Inch 1080p 120Hz Slim Smart LED HDTV($800 for 46")
http://www.amazon.com/Samsung-UN46F...f=sr_1_2_m?s=tv&ie=UTF8&qid=1383453440&sr=1-2

LG Electronics 50LN5700 50-Inch 1080p 120Hz LED-LCD HDTV with Smart TV($760 for 50")
http://www.amazon.com/LG-Electronic...ref=sr_1_1?s=tv&ie=UTF8&qid=1383498028&sr=1-1

Thoughts and recommendations for something in that price range? Thanks in advance!

If your willing to spend $800 You can grab a GREAT DEAL ON BF. Worth the wait. I would set up shop for lightning deals at Amazon. Plus look out for the deals at your local big box retailers.

Don't wait, get a Panasonic S60 and use bias lighting! it should be so close to OLED but with better motion handling. I will post a pic of my 30 series on the lowest contrast setting (the camera white washes higher contrast)

Panasonic 42PF30 in monitor mode, real world contrast is much higher than camera can handle (still captured from a video)

Yeah, looks like I'll be without a TV until Thanksgiving. Getting better deals is definately worth the wait for me.

sorry l88bastard, looking to buy new

I ordered the tv and was really impressed with it, but decided that I wanted the 65" version and was gonna return the 50" but the retailer made me an amazing deal on the 65" if I kept the 50" He sold me the $1,399 65" for $600 if I kept the 50"

There is nothing used about the 50" it is literally brand new and still comes with the warranty and original box.
