Looking for a Gaming Laptop

I went from an Alienware 18 (4700+2x980m) to an Asus GL 502 (6700+1070) and besides not being a boat anchor, it's much quicker due to the new technologies (from msata and 2x sata RAID0 SSDs to NVME SSD). Night and day difference.

If I were to buy a gaming laptop right this moment, I would take a look at https://www.theverge.com/circuitbre...-new-aero-15-laptops-gaming-laptop-ultra-thin

Aero looks good except its plastic which for the price is a turn off for me....maybe.

EDIT:....seems it is not plastic. Reviewer was wrong.

I just got the Aero 14 and it's pretty nice. Thinner and lighter than my 3 year old ultrabook and way more powerful, and great battery life to boot.

I just saw the Aero 14 - looks good!

I've already given up on trying to get a one size fits all portable solution. When I want to game on the road, I'l take my Asus (with the 1070) and when I'm doing lots of work, I'll take my ultrabook - a Dell XPS 13.
