can be upgrade or install dvd I prefer not getting from ebay.
I'm not sure what you're expecting. This isn't magic or rocket science. It's not available on the app store, which means all your options are all second hand.
Hit up fs/ft. Go on eBay, or CL. After that the only other options are looking for some torrent to get an ISO (which of course is illegal... if this is really that important just buy a copy). Same as with everything else.
Amazon as an example has alternative sellers: https://www.amazon.com/Mac-OS-Leopard-10-5-10-51/dp/B0012RAVRC and https://www.amazon.com/Apple-Version-10-5-1-Leopard-DVD-ROM/dp/B005YE9ESQ
In other words, just Google this.
I know I'm covering all bases.
I have the 10.4.10 set that came with my 2008 MBP (I think that was the year). Mint, never removed from plastic sleeves. PM me if interested.
I've never seen a physical 10.5.8 DVD anywhere myself (been providing OSX support for about as long as it's been around) but I have seen physical 10.5.6 DVDs and then just get the 10.5.8 combo update from Apple, maybe if you focus more on finding one of those instead of a 10.5.8 you might be more successful.
OK will do
I assume you are looking because this is for a PPC system? Might try asking around some of the apple authorized service providers in your area. Normally I would say ask your local apple store if they have the installation media on their network or an external hard drive, but they have probably all tossed it out. (I know my store did shortly after I quit, and there is only one guy left that even knows PPC systems)
What you seek is the proverbial Unicorn. I went through it and gave up.
When it went out of production prices went as high as $250.00
Thanks everyone and more so for
