I got the humble 5600 Ultra because I heard the ones past 5600 have a single bug in a particular retro game. Splinter Cell or something.
When I built my retro rig, I simply decided that the 5600 was the right one for me. But honestly, I wouldn't say no to a cheap 5900 Ultra either.

Looks like the same PCB, without the cooler. Based on the "NV35GL" marking on the GPU, it's probably an early ES version of the Quadro FX 3000. The OP's sample may also be a Quadro FX 3000, or perhaps a 5900/5950 Ultra ES.
