I need to use ipv6 protocol but I can't make it work somehow...
I got Linksys wrt610N router and Linksys WUSB600N wifi card.
When I turn off TCP/IPv4 in network adapter settings it can not connect with Linksys router. Only when ipv4 is on it can connect. How I can make ipv6 work... pretty please help. I'm using some new software (3dsmax 2012 backburner (network rendering) and it only can use ipv6. So I'm totally stuck .

Your router isn't handing out IPv6 addresses. You would need to enable IPv6 support on the router, and set it a static IPv6 address, then you would need a DHCP server capable of handing out IPv6 addresses. I believe by default the DHCP server on the linksys firmware isn't capable of doing this, so you may need to setup a server somewhere else, or just statically assign your workstation an IPv6 address.

Upgrade to DDWRT firmware, and enable ipv6?
No personal experience with that particular feature, but with other stuff DDWRT is top notch.

it's compatible with IPv6, but doesn't support it.

not that I completely understand what that means, but that's what is said between those 2 posts.

and also, just because...

it does, or at least use to, apparently broadcast IPv6 but has no configuration settings available.
