Linksys WRT54G won't power up

I come home tonight and my router appears to be dead. I've hit the reset button and tried it in many different outlets in the house and I don't get any power lights coming on.

I'm assuming she's dead...? Probably due to a crappy surge protector which I just found out seems to have short in the cord. The surge protector is now in the trash.

Any other options to troubleshoot or am I resolved to buy a new router tomorrow?

Suggestions on a new router?

depending on the version some of them had faulty power supplies

I've had it 3+ years or so.. I woulldn't be suprised if that's the case here.

Check the power supply to see if it is even putting out the proper voltage. A new wallwart is a bit cheaper than a new router.
