Linksys Problem!!!!!

I have my own cs source server that u use to ping 25-30. This last two weeks, i am pinging about 120 constantly.

As soon as i unplug router, and hook up strait to my opt online, my ping goes back to the 20s. So i know it is the router, but what could of caused this change???

I updated firmware, still nothing. Its a constant change as soon as i hook router back up, ping goes back up to 130s.


Any help please
 
ur router is a mini bottle neck, it splits the signal up between the other pc's on the network. i have the same problem dude. mom sister n i share same broadband through a router, so we all have to suffer with slightly slower internet connections cuz its much cheaper to go through a router than pay for three IP addresses for us all to have a dedicated connection.

It seems i fixed it.

I updated routers firmware to the newest official.

Reset router

Ping is now around 40s from 150s
