Lian-Li PC-80... look at this Monster!

If you had 2 optical drives and a fan controller or Xi-Fi front panel, the top fan would be blowing into solid objects?? You have to open the door to see the pwr/HDD led? meh!

Do you really need to see the PWR LED to know your computer is on?

Not really but I do like to glance at the HDD led now and then. This would not be a deal breaker for me but if I was going to drop 400.00, I would be very picky.

Yeah I do.. cuz my computer is quite slient so when I wake up I always glance to see that the LED is on if its not it's off :p

LOL, of course with 3 bright blue LED fans on the front, I don't think you'd have much trouble checking if the power was on! ;)

HDD LED is always helpful, especially with the really quiet HDD's produced today. Sometimes that LED is the only way to know if you PC is truly "hung up" or just thinking really hard. That said, I don't look at it so often that it would inconvenience me to have to open the door first.

It says in the video review that you can see both lights whether the door is opened or closed.

I am a loyal Lian Li guy but that is a horrible design. The top looks like some koolance freak, the front looks like every other case maker that is cashing in on "lots-of-led-fans" gimmick. Why are they heading down this road!

I love my PC-76 and my 20th anniversary "shell" case but that is not worth the aluminum it is made from.

Just my opinion as a loyal Lian Li fan.

EDIT: And if you want "BIG" then look for one of their cube looking cases or a PC-76. =)

i like the lian li pc-p80 case . i like the blue led fans in the front and in the top . i am going to shell out 400 dollars to newegg and buy a brand new black brushed aluminum lian li pc-p80 full tower case with a window in the side door and aluminum wheels attached to the bottom . i then will assemble a maxed out clocked out fanned out coolled out monster of a computer with a 1600 watt power supply and as many additional lights as i can add on . when i finally power up my new heavy with bling supermachine i will use it to make millions of dollars and rule the universe .

I am getting the PC-A77 its got the ability to have 4 fans down the front and still looks classy. I am getting the lian li modded top from the factory with 3x120mm fans. Eventually I will have a rad in the front and one on top.

Hi I have one of these Armour Suite P80 cases and heres my 2 cents:
The case is not worth the very expensive asking price.
The build is very strong and quality made.
The panels are all lovely brushed black alu.
The front door is really very nice it has strong metal mesh behind the alu door frame.
It is a tall but fairly slim case.
If you donot like the single 140mm fan at the top you can buy a lian li modded top panel that has 2 x 120mm fan cutouts for fans or a 240 radiator if watercooling.
There is masses of drive bays. But I did not like the 2 hard drive cages that come with the case from retail. I bought some lian li 4 into 3 hard drive caddies that have a fan on the front and a alu plate with holes.
The PSU goes in the top at the back if you have a long PSU and water cool the longest rad I could fit was a 3 x 120mm but a long PSU may make only a 240 rad possible.
But with the tall drive bays a 3x120 rad can be stood up verticle in the front drive bays.Or a 240 can be modded into the floor.
I think not having a 120 fan set into the floor panel is a mistake by lian li,especially for the high price this case costs.
Lian li should have put in a 140mm rear case fan like the top panel 140mm fan. With only one 120mm fan at the back air flow could/will suffer.
For the price of this case lian li should have given the buyer the choice of fitting their PSU at the bottom of the case as they have done with some of their other cases.
All in this case is not all it could have been it has fell short by alot in my opinion and as a buyer I feel cheated.
I also own a lian li PC201B case which is a similar layout to the V2000.
The PC201B I have is an excellent case, one of the best I've ever used and built a system inside. The drive racks are genius just like the V2000 slide in hard drive racks.
All in the P80 was a missed opertunity to build a real winner. There are better and cheaper cases out to use.
I also have a Cosmos S and th metal is thinner than the lian li but the design is brilliant and a real cool looking case with a full system working inside. And the Cosmos S is a fair price.
I hope this has helped anyone who is in 2 minds about the P80. There are cheaper and better layed out cases.A shame as lian li build quality is the tops.
