Ah you had problems with Asus' 8 pin placement too eh? Same with me, wished they'd change the location...

Nice work, never thought about doing that, the lack of the rear 120mm fan stopped me from buying this case, im presuming the side panel still fits
You don't use a sidepanel, do you? I bought a nexus 80/92mm fan adapter and it will not fit without drilling some holes in the back panel to move the 80mm cutout over a CM. Alternatively, you could run it without the side panel, which I'm going to do for a while and think for a better solution.
I need to do some more wire management and make it all pretty in there. One day I'll do it. Used a nexus 80/92mm to 120mm adapter. H60 put in place of the old after market cooler I had in there. I have already seen a 15* F drop.

I might do what you did, Victor. You drilled some holes through the top panel to mount the fan?
Hmm. So your plan is to mill out 2 slots in the plastic adapter (top left and bottom right), then shift the adapter diagonally downward/right so that it moves a couple mm into the case? You would have only 2 screws holding it on but I guess that would work perfect.Simple solution, I checked my case, the adapter plus fan is a few mm oversized, but there is enough material on the adapter to mill out the 80mm holes and turn them into slots to shift the adapter a few mm. Use some thin tape/foil to smooth out the transition. Shouldn't be too bad.
Learn to use cable ties, and you'll be fine.
If you are considering, look up hot deals. I think it was or still is $60 shipped from Newegg, maybe until 1/2.
