LG L246W or Dell 2407WFP

I already have the LG, but Dell is selling for 569.00 and free shipping.

I could return the LG to BB and save $130.00, but this monitor is very nice.

Is the Dell better than the LG?

need some help deciding.:confused:

btw: I won't be using any gamming consoles with the monitor it's strictly for computer use.
 
Well there have been reports of the DVI port going out same issue on the 24inch Benq model. Personally I would save the 130$ and get the Dell. Solid support and exchange policy. Read the shootout on this board about the Dell,LG, and newer Benq 24 inch LCDs.
 
The image quality between the two is not enormous, so much will depend on your taste. I went with the Dell because of its price, and because I prefer its picture slightly over the LG.

The LG has more even backlighting (no shift from brighter to darker like on the Dell), HDMI, no 1:1 problems --though the 04 Dell fixes this issue.

I don't think that you can go wrong with either display.
