Got fooled by CNET once again... I will now fact-check CNET on all their CES coverage.

Provantage has it already listed for a little more than $1200. I don't know if it's just a place holder.

I'm waiting to see this confirmed by more sources. Right now I'm reading too many conflicting reports from sites and no one seems to have the straight story on if there will be a 3440x1440 model with freesync.

AMD Investor Relations site has said 1080 and 75hz all day...I'd say that's as official as you're going to get.

Any monitor that supports DP1.2a with the optional Adaptive Sync or DP1.3 should also support FreeSync. So I'm guessing the reason why it wasn't listed by AMD is that LG didn't pay AMD for advertising.

But I think I might have been fooled by CNET yet again. CNET screwed up the coverage of Acer's monitor's model numbers.

Here's LG's OWN Press release:

Also, with two other LG models on AMD's list... if there was some kind of "advertising" money being spent, it would have covered all of the related models, surely. Why hide a showstopping product?
