I'm upgrading the PSU in a Lenovo Thinkcentre m93p desktop tower that I'm building. I got a 24-Pin to 14-Pin Adapter Cable for the main board power. But the CPU plug on the Corsair CX500 has 8 "pins" and the connection on the motherboard is only 4 pins. I'm 95% sure that I can just plug it in using one side of the Corsair plug (think it'll only fit in there one way) and be good. But just want to make sure that there isn't another adapter needed.
It's been a long day here, don't want to make a mistake and fry something!!! Thanks in advance.
