This is the baddest game you will ever play that is under 4kb in size, I guarantee it. Inspired by Valve's zombie shooter Left 4 Dead, I give you Left 4k Dead. Good stuff.

Left 4k Dead was made by Markus Persson, for the 2009 Java 4k Competition. The entire game is less than 4kb. The game is inspired by Left 4 Dead by Valve Software.

OK, I'm showing my age here. My first comp was a Radio Shack TRS-80 Model I. 4k RAM total. I had a pretty decent chess game I bought (for $4.99) which was loaded via a standard tape cassette.

Ugh. 8k minus OS left you with something like 5k. Painful as I recall--I would sooner go back to my 16k PET. Who really needs more than one shade of green anyway?
