I am going to put my 43X800D in the bedroom. The TV I want to try and put in the office (55KS8000) is big enough that it will barely fit in the available space.

I may need to set my router underneath. Will the router's close proximity to the TV with the antennae poking up right behind it result in any negative effects?

It will definitely affect the signal strength, I ran into a similar issue, and got some cable race rays and some long ethernet cables to reroute my router farther away. I can now get wifi out in my detached garage again.

I put mine on a side table in my living room and it's worked out much better, plus the raceways keep the cables hidden.

Thanks. Luckily the garage and most of the house is oriented behind the TV and not in front of it. So I suspect that may help with signal being blocked by the device. I figured there shouldn't be any real ill effects to the hardware on the router or the TV but thought it best to ask anyway even if it seemed a dumb question.
