LCD gradient issues - BENQ LED backlit monitor :(

Hey folks,

I bought a pair of these monitors about a month ago after everyone saying how amazing they are, but as soon as I started to use them in Photoshop I could see issues with the colour selector and a really bad banding issue in the gradients :

Dell 19" 1907 which is about 4 years old:

Anyone had this kind of issue? Not seen anyone report on it before so Im a bit confused :S

It has a TN panel which is rubbish for image editing - only 6bits. I'm not surprised it has issues with Photoshop.

Yeah, my 2006 edition Dell 19" 1907FP also has a TN panel but its fine.

It turns out this might be non display related anyway as I just installed a Dell U2311H and its doing the exact same thing with the banding.

Newest nVidia drivers and running at 32bit depth :S
