I think I'll give this mod a try this weekend. I've heard things that make me think that maybe I won't like certain aspects of the graphical overhaul, but after all this, new drivers, this thread, etc. I think it's worth giving it a try. I usually use Darkplaces, or even vanilla GLQuake, but this situation earned my time.

What did you think of it? How does it compare to Darkplaces.
