I've had my head purposefully buried in the sand for a while as far as hardware goes. Thinking about hardware makes me want to buy hardware & play with it, which is just annoying since I'm a full time law student and have to watch my budget.

DDR2 is stupid cheap now, and I'm going to upgrade from 2GB to 4GB. I'll only get to use 3.something, but I don't care since it's only $37-45.

Laptop Specs:
Toshiba Tecra M7, Core Duo 2.0, Intel 945 chipset, NV Quadro NVS 110M, XP Tablet PC Edition, 2x1GB Kingston DDR2 667.

I won't be overclocking this machine, I just use it for email/office/web/etc. stuff. I do my gaming on my dual Opteron 285 rig.

I'm considering 4 options, all 2x2GB DDR2 667 (PC5300):
Kingston 5-5-5-15 for $37 + shipping.
Kingston HyperX 4-4-4-12 for $42.50 w/ free shipping
G.Skill 4-4-4-12 for $45 + shipping
Mushkin 4-4-4-12 for $45 w/ free shipping.

Any reason not to get the HyperX?
