Both are in the same workgroup and TCP/IP is enabled on both. One is wireless, one isn't.

But when i go into network neighborhood or whatever, only the icon for itself pops up.

Make sure the workgroup name is the same on both PC's

Why don't people read the OP? I mean, it wasn't even that long...

Anyways... First you gotta see if you can even send that little electrical signal to the computer before you start troubleshooting "how you see it". You gotta be able to send signals to it first.

Do this and report back with results:
FROM COMPUTER #1:
#1- Start- Run and type in "cmd"
#2- Run "ipconfig"
#3- It will output an IP address, write this down.

FROM COMPUTER #2:
#1- Start- Run and type in "cmd"
#2- Run "ipconfig"
#3- It will output an IP address, write this down.

BACK TO COMPUTER #1:
#1- Open the command prompt window as before
#2- Run "ping 192.168.1.1" only put your IP address in there from Computer #2 rather than my example (make sure to put a space between the ping and the actual address).
#3- If it comes back as "Reply from..." you can at least contact it.

BACK TO COMPUTER #2:
Run the same ping steps as before, just switch the IPs around (ping Computer #1s adddress instead).

At any rate, let us know if the pings work.
