Didn't know if this was the right place to put this but figure its as good as any. SO.

My girlfriends laptop battery died in her Toshiba Satellite A305-S6872.

I need to order her a replacement but I want to spend as little as possible.

This is the exact replacement battery.

My question is, would this one work?

The only difference I see is the capacity, I don't know if that could potentially damage the laptop or what?

Would the cheaper battery work fine?
Thanks in advance!

So I did some reading, and from what I read I think it is fine to have a different capacity?

Could someone just confirm this for me so I can feel confident that I won't ruin her laptop

You should be alright, yes. I use two different capacity batteries in my laptop, and they work fine.

Those cheap batteries will not last long at all.......look carefully at the specs and you will see that they are significantly lower Watt-Hour output compared to a legtimate battery
