I can get them for exactly the same price, so that's not an issue. I have already read this: http://www.bexox.com/showdown.htm but I'm still undecided.

One thing that bothers me regarding the 2407WFP-HC is that every single Dell LCD I have seen, laptops included, has had backlight leakage. I'm planning on having it hooked up to my laptop so it will be connected via analog and obviously won't be used for any gaming at all.
 
Looks like I'll be getting the L246W. I can buy it locally and take it back for any reason if I don't like it.
 
I just got the LG L246WP today.... its awesome... great image quality, blacks... text is sharp... very impressed.
 
Interesting... the inverted ghosting issue being shown here was a huge problem on the Gateway, but I wasn't aware the new Dell had this problem too. For those who haven't read through the entire thread linked above, there's a video that shows exactly what the problem is here:

There is ghosting on the LG as well, of course, but I've never come across a situation in which the trails left behind where a different color than the item that was moving.
 
Nothing has changed......

I had the 2407 Rev 2 and 3 and they were terrible. So I called and they sent out a Rev 04.....

I still see a light Blob in the upper left hand side of my screen and all the posts in every forum or word document has many shades of color in each word.

Now i was going to get a 2407 HC and I see that the problems have gone from Terrible to worse.

As many of you know I was going to keep my 24" and buy a 22 for my secretary...but I can't find a 22 that I would like (all TN) so why should I give a bad one to her?

Now how do I find a 24" that I would like and give her my Dell that she would love.

Is the LG 24" the way to go?
