Korean 32" 100Hz (OC) AMVA Panel.

Has been reviewed a while ago on playwares Korea

http://playwares.com/dpreview/50274795#

The 100Hz overclock works, but only if you have an Nvidia GPU. With AMD GPU you have the option to use FreeSync but only up to 75Hz. Input lag vs. CRT is ~8ms.
There will be new panel (probably 8-bit only) with native 144Hz also in the west sometime this year (e.g. Samsung CHG70/CHG75, AOC AG322QCX)

So, basically an Omen 32 that can with luck OC to 100Hz using an NVIDIA card? for $421, no warranty and terrible return policy? thanks.

About the overclockable VA from Samsung , i was led to believe that the 2560x1440 version would be called CF711

From new 2017 Samsung display roadmap -

"CHG70: 2560x1440 , HDR, 144hz "1ms" 125% SRGB , Quantum Dot Gaming Curved Monitor. 27 and 31.5 inch. It has freesync and G-sync model. CHG70 is freesync model and 75 is Gsync model. It has Y stand and HAS stand."

The CH711 series I don't believe they have more than 75Hz .
Should be out soon in China, some chinese sites even list them as PLS panels now - but take with grain of salt.

Thx for the answers so far. :) I have a Nvidia card, and looked at the Omen 32, but no one seems to have tried OC it with a Nvidia card.
If the Omen can be OC'et above the 75, maybe 90'ish. I would go for it, even tho its 30% more expensive here in denmark - compared to the korean counterpart.
- If only I had the patience to wait for the new panels.

Update:
It seems that the Omen has a firmware limit so its not Overclockable. :(
I'll may have to go with the Korean counterpart.

The Omen can't even do 75Hz on Nvidia cards - like many other 75Hz FreeSync displays it will skip frames unless you have an AMD gpu.

Unless there has been another 100Hz overclocked Korean model in the meantime you can give the 32ss a shot, I'd be curious how it performs. I remember back when it came out it was over $620, pricing seems more reasonable now.

Allright, thanks for all the input. I did hours upon hours of research, and relly tryed to find something close or similar in 32". But ended up emptyhanded, so I just ordered the Korean Crossover 32SS. I'll review it as soon as it hits my doorstep. If i can get 85+ Hz out of this, I will be more than happy. :)

Looking forward to your impressions! Hope it won't suck :p
100Hz has to work, otherwise I'd try to return.
The playwares reviewer was able to select 2560x1440@100Hz in the Nvidia control panel. He also recorded a slow motion video that shows it is not skipping frames

What is the difference between Y stand and HAS stand ?
In terms of use , if it's possible with some pictures for each of them .

Did anyone end up getting the 32ss?

As others have said, the Omen is comparable but does not work at 75hz for nvidia, and it has bad input lag (quite insane actually)
