Kingston SSDNow V100 $74 after MIR

Sounds like a pretty good drive... if it works. Lots of failures reported on NewEgg.
 
I don't think 2/8 is really enough to justify me being concerned. I ordered two, since the MIR can be used on two of them. The reviews I've read outside of newegg seem pretty good on performance. They have a three year warranty, so I don't mind rolling with them.

Regarding the bad reviews, I was also taking into account those of the 128gb version. Still, like you said, the warranty should cover it.
