Kingdom Come: Deliverance

some people are not happy with the DLC. It does not extend the game any. The feeling is that if you have not played through the game then it is good and will add another town which you expand with gold. If you are endgame and have lots of gold then you can just pay for everything and be done. I'll pick it up once I am ready to start playing this.

Was wondering about this, kinda sounded like there wouldn't be as much value to those who have completed the game.

Might use it as an excuse to play it again, might wait for the next DLC.

Either way, happy to buy it. KCD become one of my favoritw games of all time and I'm happy to vote with my wallet that I want more.

I'm going to buy it all and save it for my glory run replay when it's all here and installed. It will be like playing a new game almost. Patches, DLC... Version 2.0. :)

I said screw it and started a new game last night... after two months I'm ready for another go anyway. I really did miss this game.

The DLC is 'ok'. I wrapped up endgame before the dlc with about 43k groschen and a fork-ton of expensive gear to jackass around the map to sell to merchants and fully fund the settlement. It's much easier to rob chests at night.
The random road attacks seem to have ramped up in difficulty at lvl 19....5 guys in full plate raining down 4 strike combos.
Adjudicating as bailiff has some comedic value, but there's no option to recruit Fr. Godwin to 'bless' my brewery, or to invite previous paramours up, nor to open a bathhouse.

Ginger still won't leave his hut in the woods. They did fix the quests for the Taalmbuger and Freud achievements.

Kingdom Come: Deliverance - Release notes 1.6.2
Kingdom Come: Deliverance - rick5292

Patch 1.6.2 makes some adjustments, improvements, and fixes to both the full version of the game and to our first premium DLC, "From the Ashes." We truly appreciate your feedback and support and we humbly ask that you continue to submit any bugs you see or come across in the land of Bohemia to our support.

Kingdom Come: Deliverance

  • The player now loses only a very small amount of faction reputation when he kills all witnesses to his crime.
  • Partially loaded the state of Talmberg during "Epilogue" fixed.
  • Robard stuck in the ground during "Epilogue" fixed.
  • "Rattled" quest in Sasau can now be started even after finishing "All that Glisters".
  • Several long faders before cutscenes fixed.
  • Player couldn't run from several quest fights in "A Needle in a Haystack". It is now possible to do so.
  • NPCs can get very dirty and bloody again.
  • Misleading objective logs during "A Needle in a Haystack" fixed and/or improved.
  • Executioner Hermann is no longer in Rattay faction, which should solve many inappropriate reputation losses concerning Rattay.
  • "Tis But a Scratch" achievement fixed.

From the Ashes DLC:

  • Any new village modifier that the player acquires now immediately appears in the GUI. It is now much easier to see which action caused changes in the village.
  • Divish now instantly teleports to Talmberg after finishing the lords' discussion during "Epilogue". This should solve many problems with starting the DLC.
  • Issue with finishing the DLC quest during Talmberg siege with Divish being teleported inside besieged Talmberg was fixed.
  • Locator Marius has much better pathfinding now.
  • There is now a bed marker on the player's bed in all stages of Rathaus.
  • The must-have money in the village chest now starts after talking to Marius in cleared Pribyslawitz. It previously started after the first cutscene, which could have caused confusion in specific cases.
  • There is now a grindstone in the basic forge and the armorer improvement.
  • It is no longer possible to "judge" Fritz and Matthew during "...Is a Friend Indeed" quest.
  • Rare issue with recruited NPCs not migrating to Pribyslavitz fixed.
  • Rare issue with dropped halberds in Pribyslavitz fixed.
  • Slight improvement in dialogue cameras during judgments.
  • Saddle-maker no longer has "Villager" UI name.
  • NPCs no longer try to walk into the wall behind the church.
  • Fader after buying resources should now be much shorter.
  • "Improvements" option in dialogue with Marius now only shows when the player can actually build some improvements.
  • It is no longer possible to recruit NPCs when the player fails the "A Place to Call Home" quest.
  • Any issues with the crowd not appearing in Rattay during Henry's public announcement should be fixed.
  • Small French and German translation improvements.
  • Many minor graphical issues in Pribyslavitz fixed.

Thank you!
Warhorse Studios

Warhorse Studios has released a teaser trailer for its next serving of Kingdom Come: Deliverance DLC, called the Amorous Adventures of Bold Sir Hans Capon, in which you'll help Sir Hans win the heart of Karolina, the butcher's daughter...Warhorse says it'll arrive in roughly a month alongside a free DLC called Tournament, which adds combat tournaments throughout the world...you can compete in them to win armour sets and money, but first you'll have to finish a quest chain that will last around five hours...

Their content has just been phenomenal !

Game has been too buggy for me. Up to I believe 1.5 or so? I uninstalled bc of the issues. I would love to make a return trip when the game is more consistent. Combat any better?

Yea the foliage and forest videos I've seen have showcased some of the best visuals I've seen in any video game yet. Can't wait to play it one say when I buy a new computer lol

Yeah this could be the Best DLC of the lot so far Sir Hans is a jerk which is why people like him and it memorable. I like how they try to keep the game conventional which makes the game more realistic.

Tell me how you make out at the Bandit Camp when you get there I've been meaning to pick up this game again and finish it.

In my opinion, KCD is the best looking game out right now. It might not be the most technologically advanced or have the highest resolution textures or whatever, but it looks and feels real in a way that no other video game does. Every road, every stream, every pebble, every pile of horse shit, it all looks exactly like it's supposed to. I can't count how many times I've been playing this game, and stopped doing what I'm supposed to and just walked around looking at shit. Sometimes for like an hour... just admiring how well crafted the world is.

I'm on my second play though, currently sitting at about 110 hours played, and I can confidently say KCD is my favorite game ever made, technical problems and all. It immerses me in a way that nothing before it ever has.

Completely agree. While I haven't played it I've definitely tried to watch every video I can. I think two things make it stand out when compared to pretty much every other game out there: foliage density and scale.

I always kinda figured that developers don't have realistic foliage density due to performance concerns. Now that warhorse has done it right, I'm not sure anymore. This game is now the benchmark for how forests should be populated.

The scale of everything feels right. Best example of scale being wrong is Skyrim, where they have a mountain in the distance that looks monstrous, but then you get up to it and it's a little hill.

http://kingdom-come-deliverance.wikia.com/wiki/Main_Quests

Found a Wiki that has most of the Quests I spent like 2-3 hours today trying to figure out how to cure the lone Bandit in that Village. I just had to backtrack to the character in the Monastery to make a potion but watched a walk though for the correct answer which was the water was poisoned. Now I'm on this Silver Mine quest I saved it there cause I had enough of the game for the day. I see they changed the music up a little in the game with the updates I missed though the months.

I did the Alchemy but I got stuck with where to find the stoneware bottle so I had to go look at a video for it they are on the left side duh!!!
I never bleed so bad like in the Mine before I couldn't see what the hell I was fighting in there even with a torch.

Update: I still have to go though all the loop holes of the daily schedule otherwise they catch you and through you out :) The trick is the skip the right about of time....

LOL This guy glitches the Monastery at 126:00 this isn't one game I wouldn't want to speedrun just due to the nature of the game.

I just want to say, stopped to watch the sun light move across the town, man the attention to detail of the little things constantly make me pause in wonder.

One day this game, or one just like it, should make its way to VR.

... and have support for HDR.
I'd love to see the sun with some HDR magic.

I have some of the Post processing stuff turned due to eyestrain.
Close to Endgame but not sure if I want to finish the game just for an Achievement.

Sir Hans DLC comes out tommorow I was watching a interview with the voice actor for Sir Hans and he looks kinda like him.

a lot of patches, but also a lot of bitching about it, so....

PC 1.7 Patch Notes

  • – Optimizations –
  • Texture streaming massively improved. Pop-in of the more detailed textures or body parts should be much less apparent.
  • We have optimized despawning of items. This should positively affect performance for some players.
  • NPCs no longer randomly drop items while going into less detailed LOD state. This should slightly improve performance.

    – New features –
  • Tournament! - The tourney takes place every few days in the courtyard of Rattay Upper Castle. Depending on how far you've progressed through the story, ask either the Samopesh blacksmith or Sir Hans Capon to make the necessary introductions.
  • Dice minigame improved - We have added a new set of dice with a "Joker" side and three types of straights to score. It is now easier to gain points with wild dice, so we raised the score limit to 4000 points.

    – Quest bugs fixed –
  • Lord Divish now returns to Talmberg after the cutscene in Epilogue.
  • Bandit recruiters in "If You Can’t Beat ’em" quest are no longer afraid of corpses and the quest can be progressed even if you bring them physical proof of your success.
  • Quarry robbery in the "Gallows Brothers" quest now has a proper ending if the player refuses to join the robbers.
  • Fixed infinite fader before Uzhitz sermon, which arose during a certain patching order.
  • Fixed issue that caused Lord Capon to visit baths before starting the "Next to Goodliness" quest.
  • Fixed issue that caused Kunesh's axe to disappear during loading thus preventing completion of Unexpected Visit quest.
  • Fixed issue that prevented the player from getting cat-paw immediately after beating Gambler in "Miracles While You Wait" quest.
  • Fixed issue that caused Fritz and Matthew to attack each other after "A Rock and a Hard Place" quest.
  • We also squashed a bug that caused inability to hand over their share.
Soldiers continue to load trebuchet even if you talk to Sir Robard and deliver quest "Ruin".
  • We also fixed a rare situation in which players could not talk to Sir Robard during "An Oath is an Oath" quest.
  • Changed behavior of the captured Cuman, with this patch he talks to the player even if the player has a really low reputation with Cuman faction. To be fair he did have a reason to distrust you!
  • There is no longer an infinite fader after killing an opponent in the fist-fighting quest line.
  • Erik at Vranik fort now has death protection, which prevents consequent cutscenes in the quest from failing.
  • Failure of "The Prey" quest caused by meeting thugs from "Debts Must Be Paid" quest when traveling with Hans Capon fixed.
  • Fixed issue that sometimes caused Captain Bernard to stop training the player after taking the "Marauders" quest.
  • Fixed incomplete dialogue option in "Saintly Remains" quest.
  • Fixed cutscene in Rocketeer quest.

  • Quest "Keeping the Peace" now properly triggers game over if the player leaves Rattay
  • Fixed autosave in "The Sport Of Kings" quest.
  • Bug in "Next to Godliness" quest where Hans Capon didn't enter the bath fixed.
  • "Hare Hunt" quest icon is now active only if the quest can be taken.
  • Issue with quest markers in "A Bird in the Hand" quest fixed.
  • Quest "Next to Godliness" now cannot be activated after Epilogue.
  • A rare bug with NPCs from different quests occurring during Talmberk siege fixed.
  • Combat Master Vanyek can now correctly duel with the player during "The
  • Die is Cast" quest.
  • Fixed objectives and logs in "A Needle in a Haystack" quest.
  • Eating from a bowl in the monastery should now work without an issue.
  • Fixed interaction between "Wounded Soul" and "A Man of the Cloth" quests.
  • Fixed interaction between "Wounded soul" and "Pestilence" quests.
Small tweaks in the dialogue with blacksmith Zach in "All That Glisters" quest.
  • Bug which caused Hans Capon to talk only about "Robber Baron" quest even after finishing it fixed.
  • Rare bug that stopped progression after losing a dice game during "Keeping the Peace" fixed.
  • Bug that caused absence of important dialogue with Hans Capon during "Clothes Make the Man" fixed.

    – Other bugs fixed –
  • Fixed rare issue that caused money disappearance during loading.
  • Fixed problem with uberlods that caused occasional disappearance of Pribyslavitz
  • Fixed another rare issue that caused combat lock on dead opponents.

  • Small graphical glitches fixed
  • UI buttons no longer flicker in Ledger.
  • It is now possible to smoke and dry food in bulk.
  • A new sound is now played when drying or smoking.
  • Judgments are no longer accessible after failing the quest.
  • Events on Rattay square no longer appear during the Bailiff's speech.
  • The chance of encountering enemies near Pribyslavitz is now lower after clearing the bandits.
  • Weaponsmith and armoursmith now properly display goods around the shop.
  • Weaponsmith and armoursmith now have more money.
  • Two of the woodcutters no longer stay in the village after the player banished them during one of the judgments
  • The smithy guard now guards the shop even after the shop upgrade.

Bitching? Man. Ok. So I am going to wait a bit longer to play. I want it optimal. The game must be head down and ass up!
