In this context I had people that tend to use an external engine instead of their own (unlike an ubisoft, Rockstar, EA, etc...) and decide not to go with Unreal. i.e. smaller than more than small.How do we define "small" these days? Because the 4,000 people employed by Ubisoft Montréal is the exception even in the AAA space, not the norm. Warhorse Studios employs 250. For comparison, id Software employs around 350.
Not that good of a metric considering cannot be called small in any way project like Witcher 4 shifted toward Unreal...
