Alternatively, the 650 watt model is 39.99 - $10 MIR, if you don't need 750 and don't trust rebates.

Deal isn't available until 5:45ET due to Shabbos. That leaves plenty of time for you all to get in on this deal though!...

Thank you so much for posting this! I cancelled my order with EVGA from yesterday (850 bronze for $40, and 650 gold for $50) and ordered a 650 and 750 from this deal.

I've used B&H in the past but won't anymore, pending their response. Tried to get on the RTX 2070 deal they had yesterday but they have their Jewish holiday and prevent ordering. Fine, whatever, I respect that. Problem is you can't reserve the price. Had the RTX in the cart for 24 hours. They enabled online ordering again. Problem is the sale magically disappeared and the price jumps up $80 right as they holiday ends. Essentially they had a Black Friday deal, but you couldn't actually take advantage of it due to their restrictions on ordering during that time frame.

I'm not sure if that is the textbook definition of "bait & switch" but it is pretty close to it. Outright false advertising, claiming to have a sale, won't let you order, and then as soon as they enable ordering they remove the sale. At the minimum it is false advertising. I am pretty sure this type of advertising is illegal.

I'm not really upset that I can't order from them at the sale price. I'm pissed that I waited and let other sales from other stores that actually allowed customers to order at the sale price expire.

Consider that when ordering from B&H.

I believe there is a term for what happened to you, but since this isnt Genmay, ill refrain.

I think "duped" is a good one. I'm almost positive this sale tactic is illegal in my state if not federally. B&H CS did respond; but two different people responded with two entirely different excuses. Says all I need to know. I don't need to barter and deal with bait & switch marketing. I don't expect third world marketing tactics and customer service from a website that sells expensive electronics. I know two years back they cancelled a lot of peoples Crucial MX300 orders at the sale price. Glad I bought mine from Amazon.

So just take any of these sales with a grain of salt. If you absolutely want something, order from Amazon, Newegg or Walmart because you know you'll get it at the advertised price. If you don't really want it, then consider B&H.

At that price, B&H will probably cancel the order a week later.

Fixed for you. :p

Deal is apparently dead on the 550 G3 too. 550 G2 looks good though. Will get one of these for my son's budget gaming rig.

Looking at the 1600w specs...can it seriously pull 17 amps from the wall? Thats enough to trip a typical home circuit breaker on its own. And the C20 plug.... Guess I should have an electrician run a 20A circuit going to a single 5–20R receptacle just for this to be kosher. Although I doubt I can pack in enough stuff to come anywhere that draw.

I'm sure it could pull that amperage if you can actually find the hardware to require that kind of power draw. I would be amazed if you could get a current gen system to pull half that amount of power, as I'm seeing 2x 2080 Ti systems pulling almost 650w from the wall, so you might get that up to 800w somehow if you OC the shit out ever everything and hang a bunch of fans/pumps off of it as well. I think the only appeal to these really high wattage PSUs is so they're more efficient with these otherwise higher demand configurations where you can throw anything at it and still be well below half of its capacity.
