Impressed?

"Today KFC announced its own surprising jump into the console market. Introducing the KFConsole, an innovative new system that satisfies both your hunger for high-end enthusiast gaming and your actual hunger.

The real secret sauce to the KFConsole is its patented Chicken Bucket Chamber technology, which keeps your tasty drumsticks warm as you game. Instead of simply whisking away all the heat with a powerful cooling solution, the KFC Console makes good use of the 7nm SoC's toasty thermals to actually cook your food. The Chicken Bucket Chamber also acts as a combo space heater for those cold wintry nights."

I'm digging the form factor, reminds me of an Instant Pot.

Not sure if I believe the 120fps and true 4k, though. That seems far fetched.

"7nm" my ass - did you all see that red-glowing heatsink?
It's definitely using 14nm++++ to keep those drumsticks that hot and spicy. :D

Welcome to the painful territory of politically correct jokes. Until they decide that making fun of gamers, food, or anything else isn't politically correct either.

Just a guess but it could be some type of game console giveaway promotion. Probably a bucket or something with a "console" paint scheme. Taco Bell has done something similar to this in the past with consoles. I believe Taco Bell and KFC are owned by the same company.

Is this console happening or not? I thought preorders were supposed to go up last month.

The product page is now claiming 4K 240fps which... fine, if you're making up numbers they may as well be big. That does suggest that either they switched to a HDMI 2.1 capable card, or suddenly remembered that RTX 2060 has DisplayPort, since the previous 4K120 claim was presumably just HDMI 2.0 limits.
I'm sure there's something that a cut TU106 and 45W CPU can run at 4K240 even if it's Among Us or Half-Life 1 so I guess they're clear to just say whatever as long as they're vague.

But all that doesn't matter because this isn't real, right? Right? 🤔 I can't believe I'm still asking that 10 months later, but KFC x Coolermaster really excelled at making something so detailed yet so improbable :ROFLMAO:

I thought it was real, but there are so many internet trolls these days that I'm not able to tell either way. I have $1,500 set aside to buy this on release but now I'm wondering if I fell for some kind of scam.

Come on, it's obviously a joke. Every single thing about it is a meme. But we're talking about KFC, so it works.

Well I feel dumb now. Added Seagate Asus and Cooler Master to my do-not-buy list for tricking me and getting my hopes up for nothing.

I mean, if it does actually come out, I might buy one just for laughs, but I seriously doubt it.

They'll make one after Valve updates the Steam OS, slap that on it, bundle it with a custom controller, and hopefully whoever wins it will be smart enough to sell it to a casino museum for twenty five large.

I guess I can just buy a USB coffee warmer for my PS-TV to heat my leftover chicken on.
Annoying that it had to come to this but now I'm fixated on the idea of a food reheating console.

Just buy an Nvidia GPU. I'm sure it will generate enough heat to cook up some chicken.

I have a Nvidia Zotac 750 1gb card and I'd like to use it. But I fainted one night and hit my head on it's heatsink.. Which is now unfortunately very warped.
Do you know of a decent aftermarket cooler that is available to buy that's compatible with a Nvidia 750?
