i have a HPw1907 widescreen monitor, native res @ 1440x900, 16:10, supports 720p, 1080i, currently running at 720p on ps3.
i know the ps3 has to crop the image to fit my screen, therefore leaving jaggies (at least its better than my CRT), but i was wondering i f i can keep the ps3 aspect ratio @ 16:9, i dont care how its cropped on my monitor, i just want to see if i can do it, i was fooling with the ps3 options but had no luck, i even enabled (forced) 1080p, and my monitor would flick off then back on again in a weird pattern (obviously).
im not sure if i can do this in the ps3 setting, my monitor has a stretch to fit option and a fill aspect ratio option, but none seem to cooperate with the ps3 (meaning it stays the same).
if anybody has successfully done this, please let me know.
