Tried this keyboard in a store. Right size, feel, and minimal bs bezel and media controls, pass thru for my mouse I love it... But just resting my fingers on the keys will sometimes be enough to register a press on the red switches.

Would the tactile bump on browns be enough to help, or do I need a different board with heavier switches?

Is there a corsair rep on this forum that could say if heavier switches will come to this board?

I miss the old buckling spring, but I need more than 2KRO and I don't want a big bezel.

sounds like you need to experiment with some keys first and find out what you like. If you have some place close, I would recommend trying blue and brown switches before you purchase another board. Then you have a lot of custome switches like razors. You can find their boards at wal-mart and bestbuy to test.

If not, grab a mx switch tester of amazon and them make your pick.

I use the K70 with browns at work. The brown's are a bit stiffer. They do actuate fairly high up but need a bit more pressure then reds. Not sure how much more though.
