So I just ordered a MSI GT72S-G219 laptop and I'm really excited. I need two things for it though...

Notebook: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16834152935&cm_re=GT72S-_-34-152-935-_-Product

1) I'm looking for 64GB of DDR4 for it. Its for all the VMs and stuff I want to run on the go and I can't seem to find it other than when I configure a laptop from xotic PC. I've reached out to them to see if they will sell a kit of it to me, but any suggestions related to where I can find this would be appreciated.

2) I'm looking for a few spare AC adapters for the laptop. I found something on amazon but I'm not sure if this is the one I want or not (and it seems that MSI doesn't sell them directly from their website)

Any help would be appreciated!

16GB DDR4 SO-DIMM modules are going to be reallllly hard to find.
I checked Micron's catalog and they only have 2 such units of it and one of them is still in sampling phase.

This is the production unit: MTA16ATF2G64HZ-2G3
And a place to inquire for pricing:

I didn't see any article mentioning the OEM for the MSI, so you may have to wait for a review to surface for that information. Then just google around for a matching AC adapter. (or you can try matching specs and appearances with Clevos for a shot in the dark)

It's a real beast of a system though, happy VMing :)

Thanks for the reply. The system comes today so I'll see what brand the power supply is and try to find one just like it.

Thanks. I was kinda kicking myself for not ponying up the cash for the 980GTX version of the laptop or getting the GT80 Titan with two of those new desktop versions. I thought to myself though, with my two other systems I don't need a laptop to be that powerful on the go. I won't be spending a lot of time gaimng.

I'll try and do a full "review" of it over the weekend. I haven't owned a gaming laptop since the Alienware 17r2 with two 260m video cards.
