Really? The decisive edge? I can think of 2 PS3 RPG exclusives that are good - Valkyria Chronicles and Demon's Souls. Not exactly a huge edge there.
My personal favorite is actually Disgaea 3. And I think Folklore was an underrated title. The game lacked level design and depth but all the other aspects of the game were quite interesting. It was a good start, they just needed to push a sequel with more depth.
What's the 360's decisive edge?
Mass Effect (my favorite 360 game actually)
Lost Odyssey (which I own, and regret paying more than $30 for)
Fable 2 for some people, I personally don't like it, or much of anything Molyneux defecates out.
Since we're talking about decisive edges, I'm not going to list Infinite Undiscovery or Last Remnant because very few people actually liked either of those, the latter one going on the list of one of the more hated titles of the generation.
The "best" RPGs of this generation seem to be multiplat. Dragon Age is my current favorite of any genre. Of course, it's a piece of shit on both consoles and I wouldn't recommend playing it if that is your only choice (the words clusterfuck and slideshow come to mind when describing it). If I had to choose only one console to supplement my PC with RPGs I would easily choose the PS3.
