I had LASIK (technically PRK) done on both my eyes almost a decade ago. 100% worth the money.
You can get lenses+lense adapers that fit in both the Rift and Vive headsets. The only downside to them is you need to remove the lenses every time someone else wants to use the headset. I don't have first hand experience with them but I understand they're easy to remove and replace, but not as easy as not requiring them all-together.
