my set up.

Antec Performance I P180 Silver case
Antec TRUEPOWERII TPII-550 ATX12V 550W Power Supply
DFI LANPARTY UT nF4 SLI-DR Expert Socket 939 MoBo
XFX GeForce 7900 GT EXTREME Video card
Western Digital Raptor 74GB 10,000 RPM hard drive
Creative Sound Blaster Audigy2 7.1 Sound Card
G.SKILL 2 x 1GB DDR 400 (PC 3200) ram
AMD 64 4000+ San Diego Processor

its all new. the case already has 3 120s in it. what have you used and would say that would be BEST for cooling everything. i dont want to go with liquid or phase change. but i want to keep all critical parts cool. im not going to over clock just yet.

i was looking at Zalman vf 700cu and cnps9500. i hear they have a great track record. any ideas coments complaints? all advice greatly appriciated
link for both zalman

I definitely recommend the CNPS9500, but I suggest getting the VF900 over the VF700 if you have the money. I got the VF900 and it dropped my idle temps by 12 degrees. I haven't had any experience with the VF700, but I know it is a good cooler. If you don't have the money for the VF900, the VF700 should be excellent.

EDIT: Forgot to mention I have an eVGA 7900GT.

The Zalmans are excellent, have had very good cpu temp drops with them. In my particular case, the ThermalRight SI-120's work better because the Tyan K8WE motherboard has passive heatsinks on the 3 motherboard chips, and the SI-120's seem to cool the cpu's just as well using quieter fans than the 9500's at high setting (12v afaik). Nothing against the 9500's though. Just a bit noisier and not as much mb airflow.

YMMV
