Too bad its only for PSN since this game is like nothing you have ever played before.
When playing this game only 1 word comes to mind - Isolation
You will run into other players in your Journey who will either help you
or just walk past you and disappear never to be seen again.
Your cloak tells a story about you and how many times you
have finished the game.

There is no dialogue in this game and the story line is basically laid out
in a form of pictures. Since pictures can be seen differently by every person
each person has their own version of the game. The game is probably
about 4 hrs long if your playing by your self for the 1st time. If you have a partner
you can finish the game in about 2 hrs since your partner and your self can
power each others ability to fly. Which is a heck of alot faster than walking.
You need to experience the game both ways, but the only way to experience
it single player is to disconnect your PS3 from the internet.

The Graphics are amazing and controls are basic. You can only walk, jump
and interact with the world around you by speaking. Basically speaking with
the creatures in the world will power up your flying ability and will help you
interact with object which will allow you passage to the next area.

(SPOILER)
The 1st couple of level are very bright and fun but you will get to some
dark scary levels with bad guys. I don't want to give anything away since
the dark levels will make your hair stand all over you body. I had more
fun being scared than anything else and the feeling of being helpless
will take over you(specially playing alone). There are tons of hidden Items
and hidden passages which give this game a nice amount of replay value.

This is a great game and I recommend it to anyone who is willing to
experience something different.

The RedCloak is the original cloak you will start with and it requires a
partnert to power the ability to fly.

There is a White Cloak which is only available after you collect
all the Energy symbols in the game and recieve the TRANCENDENT
trophy. Once you have the trophy you can start the game from the
beggining and then hit the Start Button and then choose
"Chapter Select" once you spawn you will see 3 long flags
sticking out of the ground. You need to place your self under the
flag and fly up (you might need to do it a couple of times)
Once you do it the cloak will turn white which means that when you
touch the ground you will Automatically reacharge your ability to fly.

Is there a demo for this one? I want to try it, but I'm hesitant to dish out $$$ before trying.

Great experience, I enjoyed every second of it. Its one of those can video games be art which seems to polarize the community. If you are into that sort of thing check it out.

Taken directly from GameInformer who gave it a 9/10.

Read this Pigwalk!

"The artistic and technical excellence of Journey make it worth your time,
but no one should have illusions about uncovering a complex gameplay
experience. I find no fault with simple, accessible design, but the lack
of any real challenge over the course of the game lessens the impact of the
journey's conclusion - how am I meant to feel like I've just come through an
arduous quest if nothing ever made me think or work hard?
In the persuit og highly scripted moments of beauty, the game loses
a sense of player agency and choice. At the end of the day , it's a trade off
I'm okay with, but less linear pathing through the events might have increased
my involvement in the experiece"

This part of the entire article made me get this game.
No demo unfortunatly.

Love this game. the atmosphere, music, simple gameplay.....brilliant. The fellow journey companions is great touch. Thatgamecompany is going places.

Its a PSN exclusive downloadable for the PS3. $14.99 I think. Here's a quick review. Have a good time = )

After beating this game endless times I like to wait for newbies
by the bridge and take them through the Journey.
Help them find all the symbols and hidden places.

almost everyone I run into now has a white cloak!

On my first playthrough I enjoyed the game but I felt a little let down. I had let the hype get to me too much I think and the game didn't quite live up to what I had built it up to in my mind. However, being a bit of a trophy whore I decided to try to play through it again to see what I could do about some trophies I had missed.

I ran into a player in a white robe, which I didn't even realize you could do. I ended up playing the entire game with them, from the bridge to the end. There was one point near the very end that I thought I had separated from my companion and I almost lost it. That game really does have a lot more power and is far more interesting with another good companion. I'm glad they tell you the username of the people you played with at the end. I hope I can add some cool people to my PSN friends list that way.

The ending level i thought was perfect, the rest of the game was kinda meh. I didn't seem to find many hidden passages or secrets :(.
