Yep, we will have a LOT more room for gaming through the day depending on tourney sizes.

Actually this venue is almost 4 times larger than last :) We had 2 or 3 sponsor areas last time this time we have 10+. Larger area for more/bigger tournaments and a stage area for raffles so it's not so damn cramped. Breathing room is nice :)
 
Should be a pretty damn good weekend. Flying into Austin on Friday morning, gonna go shoot some wild hogs, and drink some scotch. Then gonna bring my old man up from Austin, come play games and hopefully win some damn good loot on Saturday, eat some good Texas steaks and drink more scotch and stay in a nice hotel in Dallas. And then go back to Austin and shoot some more hogs on Sunday and Monday and of course drink some more scotch! What a great vacation.
 
Last event and the event before that were awesome. Big Thanks for Kyle, HardOCP, and AMD for keeping this going.

Working on getting 200 more spots opened up. Just have to get the venue footprint worked out. We have plenty of space, just trying to keep the footprint from being too big.
 
I already registered, but I'm asking on behalf of a couple friends: Are walk-up registrations permitted? I don't know why they're reluctant to register in advance.

That sounds like fun weekend planned. As of 9/1/11, you can even go hog hunting from a helicopter (HHH)! :cool:

Yeah, we ask for SO MUCH to allow them into a free event chock full of prizes and general awesomeness. Tell them if they can't register, they will not be allowed in. In fact, give me their pictures so I can spot them in the line an personally escort them from the premises.
 
I used to live close enough to come to this - sad that I don't any longer, but I want to tell Kyle, Steve and the rest that it's all kinds of awesome that you're doing this, keep it up!

yeah i just registered a few minutes ago and it appears to have gone through. do we need to print out our receipt or anything to bring with us or will they have our name on a list?

the last event was killer, had a great time in the tf2 tournament, even though i lost. the dirt 3 eyefinity simulation setup was epic and the amount of prizes they gave out were astounding. i didnt win anything personally (other than the rat padz door prize, a few t shirts and a dirt 3 key,) but my buddy walked away with a set of corsair HS1s. if its anything like last year it will be a great time with a good chance of taking home some expensive gear.
 
Damn now the odds my me winning awesome loot went down! lol I am looking forward to a great day!

I can only imagine a scenario where someone would've won the motherboard prize for registering but didn't get it b/c he was a no-show. :eek: :D

Make sure they fill in the form asking for their SS#, mother's maiden name, and all current CC numbers and verification codes and expiration dates. Thanks.
 
I just went through the registration process myself and it is anything but intrusive.

We will be releasing details on the tournaments shortly. But I can leak some info ;)

Battlefield 3 Squad Deathmatch
Blacklight Retribution Team Deathmatch
one or two others that we can not mention yet ;)
Many other games will be shown but those will be setup in a tournament format.
 
this is going to be the best birthday ever!!, ill turn 29 on the 21st and ill be spending it with the [H]orde and hopefully winning some prizes!

Is tournament signup going to be similar to the last event (with pre-reg for different time slots) or will it all be done at the event this time?
 
I'm looking forward to going to the event. I'll be building an eyefinity setup this year and can't wait to see some examples in person. See y'all there!
 
You may want to open up more than the venue can handle as not everyone who registers is going to show up - unless you've already accounted for that.

Will there be that sick Dirt 3 cockpit with eyefinity on projectors again?
 
Yepp! We will have two 30 foot wide Eyefinity screens running Dirt 3 and other games.

I was thinking about doing some Battlefield 3 in 3D on them too. The glasses are the issues, for everyone else it will look like poo without them. Hopefully I will have quite a few for people to use
 
Nice, I'm looking forward to playing "Dirt 3" again. That game rocks and I hope they have some give-aways for "D3" licenses again. I missed it last time around b/c I didn't know about doing the Facebook "like" thing.
