We have a follow up to the story we posted earlier today about iTunes being incompatible with Windows Vista. Apple has released a repair tool for Vista that repairs files required by iTunes. Thanks to Alberto Colin for the heads up.

The iTunes Repair Tool for Vista 1.0 will repair permissions for important files required by iTunes to play your iTunes Store purchases.

permissions? couldn't you actually just allow all the contents of the folders to have full access by all users or run itunes as an admin???

Well, my iTunes has stopped repeatedly asking me to log in to play my one purchased song. LOL Works fine.
