iTunes Albums Bitrate

2.5 years on [H] and you dont know how to use google?

Took me 3 seconds to find....128kbps
 
And in my opinion the quality is alright.... probably could be better, but it's not too bad.

 
iTunes actually offers some albums in 256kbps AAC. These albums are marked with "iTunes Plus" above the "Buy Album" button.

Sadly, not all albums are 256kbps.
 
And they cost more too in some instances (meaning the DRM free ones), go figure. That's pretty lame, I'd say. And speaking of LAME, that's my mp3 encoder of choice. :p
