It wasn't even close

wow, nice read. It's no surprise though, AMD dominates the performance market for CPU in all categories except laptops, IMO.

Well, at least one part of the review was subjective. In their opinion, the 4400 X2 was a better bang for buck than the 820. That doesn't mean much. They could have created a performance per dollar chart, which would have show the 3800 X2 to be the best deal of the bunch.

What about dual core s939 opterons? ;)

Wow this article makes you wonder what ever happened to intel. They probably thought they were untouchable and got sloppy.

they didn't even need to have that. we all knew the outcome.
Yeah, but the nice thing here is that C-Net is mainstream media, and all the n00bs of the world will now be rid of their bias towards Chipzilla. So AMD will have a larger market share, which will cause them to drive up production, innovate even more, and possibly lower prices for us since there will be a veritable cornucopia of production. :)

I would have liked to see the Intel chip running on an Intel chipset instead of the nForce4.

its cool to see how so many new places have mentioned this as well.
