Is it possible to somehow burn an .iso file to a thumb drive? I'm drawing a blank on this, but I have a bootable .iso image of ERD Commander, and I'd love to run it from my CruzerMini, much the same way BartPE can be made to run from a USB drive. If I just copy the files over, I won't get the boot files.

Keep in mind I have never done this, but researched it once because I wanted to boot DSL linux from a usb drive.

First problem is making the USB drive bootable.

I had a different program, but I have heard this works on a lot of drives.

Then your mobo needs to support booting from USB device.

Then you need to extract files from ISO to put on drive....I think this correct. Maybe others can add/fill in details.

IIRC the bootable cd is just a cd with the image of a bootable floppy on it. So take that image and use what's mentioned above.

just decompress it using 7zip to a the device you wish to boot from and presto, just make sure the mobo supports booting from USB.

close... you need to mark the partition on the stick as "bootable"
