Is this normal for this Acer lcd?

It is like everything(icons, text etc) has a shadow at the very end

I've never experienced that on my acer 22"'s (I've owned 2)

I did have a dell 17" that did something similar to that but the effect was much more pronounced, we ended up rma'ing the dell screen
 
Let me guess, you are using a VGA cable, right ? If so, then that type of distortions (ghosting) can happen due to signal attenuation and interference. Analog signals are much more susceptible to interference than digital signals. Buying a better shielded cable may improve things a bit, but switching completely to digital is the only sure way to get rid of it.

However, if you are already using DVI/HDMI, then I don’t have any ideas why that is happening. :confused:
