Great or Awesome gaming laptop?

I'm out of the loop and was considering getting this from QVC because I can have it at my door for $300 and make payments on the rest. Just wondering what you guys thought if it since I don't really know what's good anymore.

Good machine, just not sure about the price. It does lack an ssd and the resolution is a bit low for my taste though.

I dont know if i would buy that laptop when I could get a Sager Laptop for the same price.

17.3" Full HD LED-Backlit Display with Matte Finished Surface (1920 x 1080)
Dual Nvidia GeForce GTX 860M GPU with 4GB GDDR5 Video Memory in SLI Mode

Comes with 4th Generation Intel® Core™ i7-4710MQ Processor ( 6MB L3 Cache, 2.50GHz, Turbo to 3.5Ghz)
but right now, for 35 dollars you can upgrade to a 4th Generation Intel® Core™ i7-4810MQ Processor.(2.8Ghz, turbo to 3.8Ghz, Not bad for 35 dollars.

I would select Dual-channel Memory in the Configurator though.

Same Warranty as the Dell/Alienware

So better screen, 2 better video cards in SLI, and better processor for the same price

Thanks guys. After staying up till 1 last night researching, that Alienware is waaaay overpriced. I can do a lot better for about $600 cheaper.

Check out the new MSI 17 inch barebone with m290X and intel I7 or the GT60 models with GTX870M and IPS 1080p 15.6" displays.

For your price, I recommend you the Acer Aspire V5-552G-X852 Laptop

Secs:
AMD Quad-Core A10-5757M 2.5 GHz Processor (4 MB Cache)
8 GB DDR3 RAM
1 TB 5400 rpm Hard Drive
15.6-Inch Screen, AMD Radeon HD 8750M
Windows 8, 4.5-hour battery life

Well the MSI looks awesome but I don't know much about MSI.

I am 90% sure I will be purchasing the ASUS ROG G750JS-DS71 17.3-inch Gaming Laptop - http://www.amazon.com/G750JS-DS71-17-3-inch-Gaming-GeForce-Graphics/dp/B00IEV85OU?tag=hardfocom-20

It seems to have darn near the best of everything and for $1750. I own an ASUS laptop. I've had it for 5 years and it has been great so...

The MSI Dominator looks sweet - http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00IMTQ6O0...UTF8&colid=7HFIZ4F6TE5E&coliid=I39WHPUPLM2M5C. It's $120 more than the ASUS, You get a smaller SSD but a slightly newer CPU, and 3 more gigs on the video card but again. I just don't know much about MSI.

Look at the GT60 424 or our own 5:8 or 6:8 MSI barebone based models.

Remember the MSI GT 15,6" models (barebone or retail) come with IPS displays meaning you can view the display from any angle and it has better contrast too.
