As with all Apple updates, nobody knows. People speculate all the time though. In fact, there are whole websites based on Mac rumors. There is actually one called just that.

Well, the MacBook did get an update in November of last year. Not too long ago. Probably another 2 months before we see another update on the MacBook.

There was a website that posted an update calendar based on past update frequency. Can't find it now...

Look for the announcement in February (for the WWDC dates); the conference will be between June and August. Probably June.

Regardless that's like 5-6 months to wait, screw that, get your MacBook now.

I don't need it until September so I suppose I could hold out for penryn to be incorporated into all laptops more or less
