Is there an "auto run" folder in Leopard?

I just installed Skype on my MBP machine but there's one minor issue. It seems like Skype is set to start automatically when I don't want it to do that. I've looked in the preferences tab and there's nothing that enables or disables the auto run feature.

therefore I'm wondering if Leopard has an auto run folder like what I'm use to in my Windows XP area? If so, where is it? I'd like to find it so my Skype program doesn't start on initial start up.

thanks for any info. :)

In System Preferences, go to Accounts, click on your account, then click the Login Items tab. If you see Skype in there you can just remove it.

System Preferences -> Accounts -> Your user account -> Login Items

Check if Skype is in the list.

Edit: Curse you! I was too slow! :p

Or you can right click on the skype icon on the dock and unselect "Open at Startup". I assume there's that option since i'm not on my mac at the moment. :p
