Is there a good program for slideshows?

that is, a free program. one that'll also play a song or two, while showing the slideshow? preferably free and easy to use. (it's not for me it's for my chic-friend) she's trying ot make a slideshow with a song playing in the background for her b/f.
 
I used one called IrfanView for just that purpose once... my parents 25th wedding anniversery... it worked awesome...
 
is there a way to make it so that when ya burn it to a CD it'll autorun in whatever cd-rom it's put in? along with an mp3 or wav or something?
 
I dont think you can do that with IrfanView
you might want to check out the freeware database
(sticky link at the top of the board) for possible aps


Probably the most common ap to do that is Flash
