Is the Gigabyte GA-H55N-USB3 a good motherboard? I have a spare Intel Core i5 750 lying around and like I said in previous threads, I'm avoiding Sandy Bridge due to the fact that IB is around the corner. I thought of just selling the Core i5 750, but I think I'll lose more money by going that route and upgrade to SB.

My local supplier is selling the Gigabyte GA-H55N-USB3 for $100. If I buy that, I'll instantly have a good machine to use until 2H 2012. Is this a good motherboard that will eventually turn to server use? Does it overclock decently with the i5 750?

Will the mobo be compatible with my G.Skill DDR3 1600mhz RAM?

Thanks!

For what I know Gigabyte H61 series does not support over clocking specially their mini MB.

I think it mainly depends what you need your mobo for and how you intend to use it.
With that said, this mini ITX form factor board does support intels sandy bridge models which is a plus. If your looking to purchase this mobo for strictly business, school and/or leisure use only it will be fine. If your looking for more of a gaming platform then you will need to go with an ATX form factor with 2+ PCIe x16 slots and a bit more RAM support by your northbridge. As for server use, you might look into something with SATA III support and possibly dual-CPU depending on what you plan on
hosting. I could point out several more factors but these are most important in my own opinion.
Cheers

I'm surprised at the two completely uninformed replies you got :/

Mini ITX boards of any brand are never really good for overclocking. If you're only using it as a temporary machine until IB, just hold off on overclocking it if at stock the 750 will be significantly faster than what you're using now. For when you turn it into a server, the board should be reliable. Gigabyte is a good brand, up there with Asus. Personally I've never had a Gigabyte board go bad on me.
