    Hi my pc.

9900K stock turbo 4.7 . All auto settings in bios. VOLTAGE on AUTO.

    Noctua NH-D15 .Temps 60-70C

    2x16 GB DDR4 GSKILL 3000 XMP
    Corsair 850RmX

    Aorus 2080 Ti Xtreme , no oc,stock.

All stress tests passing fine. I dont have any crashes in game.

But few days ago, i go out to work, and i left running game BF 5. When i back, game was running 13 hours, and in 14 hour ( it was 3 am ) it crashed to desktop. Event viewer nothing said. No error message,no display crash. Just exit to desktop.

Game just was on 14 hours, and after moment it go to desktop withour error message. I dont touch anything, game was in campaign mode, when character is standing on the same place.

Now i am testing again and see if i can reproduce, but i cant. I am currently on 80 hour and not crashed again.

Is this reason to worry? My drivers are the newest.
Maybe XMP issue or auto voltage? Or issue with game?

What motherboard? Mine had issues at stock too i had to manually change the voltage.

That was alot more consistent crashing though.

Most likely it's just Windows 10 updating some shit and causing the crash.

If it were hardware, it would be alot more frequent and re-produceable to a certain extent.

Version 10.5.40.26928. What is date of that version? Some sites tell 2 june 2019 some its3 June and some even 2017 year.

Also my Origin is 10.5.40.26928 actually but files date are 31.05 in folder Origin. Any ideas?

I investigating some thing. I had one weird exit from BF 5 in 2 June near 3 a.m. Maybe somehow it was update but i was not logged out.

So how i can check when that 10.5.40.26928 was installed / or updated? If anyhow i can . Also is this possible that origin was updated to that version without logging out?

And finally what is release date for 10.5.40.26928. Some sites said 2/3 june 2019 ,may 2019 and even 2017 year .

And yeah it happened once not again

Idk one crash I would ignore personally. It happens. But bfv had this issue recently. I couldn't even play MP for more then five minutes without a crash to desktop.

It was recommended to roll back my Nvidia driver. Which I did and haven't had the issue.

Wait it was fine for 14 hours of straight gaming and you're concerned about 1 crash :D?

i don't even stress test my system that long, unless it happens frequently I would chock it up to a one time occurrence and not worry to much.
A crash once a week with Windows might be below average :D.

Somebody said this to me:"Try to slightly increase your DRAM Voltage (something between +0,015v and +0,050v)! I would bet that the problem is solved after that. I saw a few users before having exact the same problem with the Hero XI and G.Skill Ram as u. Please inform us if it worked!"

All I could tell from the log you posted was it was caused by an unhandled null pointer exception in the game. I would take that as it not being down to your system being unstable and chalk it up to developing games isn't a walk in the park.

BFV just seems like a very unstable game, atleast it did when i played it. it would react to just power/temp limit no OC and crash. And any OC would fuck it sideways and crash even more to unplayable levels. It would still crash now and then but not often enough to be bothersome. Even tho the OC i used is something that is proven to be stable in all other games i played. And i played like 400 hrs in bf1 with no issues... It could just be that.

Definitely blame it on the game, not your system.
