is live down atm?

My friends connection dropped about 15 minutes ago and my buddylist was EMPTY... and I just shut it off to tinker with my new MPC. It might be back now, but there was an issue a little bit ago.
 
Its out here also, so is the live.xbox.com site.....

update: no one on my friends list can connect either so it looks like its down. :(
 
It was down the other day for maintenance according to the email I got but not sure about what's going on now.
 
Went down last night, and just checked a few minutes ago after I got off work and its still down.

Makes me mad, I cant stream my movies/tv shows to my xbox without it connecting to XBOX Live.
 
It's an announced outage. Read your damn live messages more often, everyone should have got one, I did... -_- They have been warning people for weeks.

The 24hr maintenance was for Monday. This outage happened Tuesday night/early Wednesday morning AFTER the maintenance was finished and people (like my self) had already logged into xbox live.
 
Yea the planned outtage is long gone and Live is still trippy. Couldn't connect last night so just gave up.

Lol read the damn posts. Ha ha post a negative response that is wrong. It was added downtime on top of the 24 hour maintenance.
 
read another post about MTU problems after update, might that be something to do w/ it?

/been working since monday, no time to boot up the 360
