Is LG Cinema 3D 2342P a good 3D gaming display?

Am thinking about pulling the trigger on a 3D monitor but am not sure about compatibility of this monitor with AMD 6900 series. I have a single 6970 running on the system in the specs below. Would appreciate thoughts if someone has experience with this monitor. It is quite cheap (300 USD). Also comes with passive 3D glasses similar to cinemas (which I prefer to be honest). Would appreciate your thoughts.

First time doing anything 3D (monitor or home TV) and would like to be sure before I purchase this.

There is one more monitor - the Samsung SA700 that I find too frickin' glossy and comes with flicker glasses or some crap like that.
 
Um... I think you should tell us what is your priority of buying your next monitor? Is it for gaming or for watching 3D movies?

3D gaming
or
120hz gaming?

Because although most all 120hz monitors are equipped with 3D gaming capabilities. Not all of them are great for 3D gaming... some models are better than others. Same with 120hz.
